Title: Co-founder & Head of Sales and GTM

Favorite Podcast: The Dollop - (It's American History... but fun.)

Favorite song from when you graduated high school (2008): Folkin' Around - Panic! At the Disco

Favorite song from when you started your career (2012): Freaks and Geeks - Childish Gambino

Favorite song currently: 12.38 - Childish Gambino. I'm a fanboy... I don't care who knows.

What's an interesting fact/story about how you got into marketing? I've spent my entire career on the sales/solutions side arguing that Sales & Marketing need to be more aligned. When I came to Casted I was given the opportunity to help create that bridge. So I wouldn't say I am "in marketing" as much as I try to stay a faithful liaison between our Sales and Marketing teams.

What are you most excited about for The Tic? Everything. I am getting to talk to marketers about themselves. It's fun to see marketers struggle to answer questions about their most known products: Themselves. I am hoping that someone offers me a Forrester report about themselves as a takeaway at some point.

Favorite song from when you graduated high school (2007): Love - Musiq Soulchild

Favorite song from when you started career (2011): Home - Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros

What's an interesting fact/story about how you got into marketing? As a designer and artist, I often feel that my calling in life is to connect with people in ways that are interesting and thoughtful. Creating authentic connections with people through imaginative storytelling and visuals can have a way of creating value and trust for whoever the communicator is, whether that be  person, brand or otherwise. I have been drawing since I was 2 and designing since I was 18, it wasn’t until I started my own brand that I understood how much of an advantage having those will be not only to myself but for others when it came to sharing their story with the world...and that story is marketing. It is your brand.

What are you most excited about for The Tic? I am excited to hear the perspectives of our amazing guests. I am excited to see how those stories reflect and inform how we visually transform our brand. I love the idea of being a part of such an expressive and creative endeavor

Title: Marketing Director (also Podcat’s nemesis on Twitter)

Favorite Podcast: Someone Knows Something (A CBC Original Podcast where the most polite man goes around trying to solve unsolved cases.)

Favorite song from when you graduated high school (2005): Since You’ve Been Gone by Kelly Clarkson

Favorite song from when you started career (2009): Just Dance by Lady Gaga

Favorite song currently: Cruel Summer by T Swift. I LOVE POP MUSIC AND WOMEN IN POP AND I’M NOT ASHAMED OKAY

What's an interesting fact/story about how you got into marketing? I was a writing major, thought I was going to be an editor. I ended up waiting tables after I graduated during a crappy time in the economy and ended up getting my first marketing gig (traditional marketing - brochures, website, catalogs, in-person marketing) by networking with a regular who came into my restaurant all the time. From there, I used my content skills to get into some pretty cool companies and learn a lot about SEO, digital marketing, content, etc.

What are you most excited about for The Tic? To see what we walk away with at the end of Season 1. Everyone has such a unique journey in their career, it will be really fun to see how all of our journeys are reflected in the final season brand!
