Adding Value to Your Community Through Podcasting with Morales Group’s Seth Morales

Getting a marketing initiative, such as a podcast, greenlit by your brand’s leadership or CEO is a battle in itself. Beginning with your elevator pitch of why it will drive brand awareness and elevate the prospected metrics on consumer engagement, your podcast’s investors might not see its value in building brand efforts. Or perhaps when you’re tossing out the idea of them potentially hosting the show, that might not be within their wheelhouse. That is at least, not yet.

For our last episode of Season 6, we had the pleasure of speaking with the CEO of Morales Group and host of the No Milk No Sugar Podcast, Seth Morales, who has a whole lot of experience being that CEO.

Continue as he shares his perspective on why he’s prioritizing the show for his business and how you can help your CEO see the value in podcasting too.

Digging into Key Takeaways

For each episode, we like to highlight some key takeaways. Think of it as a podcast outline or live show notes. Here are just a few of the takeaways that really stood out to us in this episode.

Creating Content That Can be Used in Different Ways, on Different Platforms ♻️

Having trouble finding new ways to create content? Think of your podcast as the ultimate content library. Not only can you go back and refer to your episodes whenever you like, but you can also take the expert conversations and repurpose them for your multiple channels of media. Both your content marketing team and consumers will enjoy your bite-sized audiograms due to their relevance and efficiency.

Podcasting Helps Build Community and Drive Value 🧱

Podcasts today are finding major success when they are tailored to a niche audience. This could be due to their focus on what their listeners desire from conversations with experts in the field as well as their attention towards building a community within itself. By having hosts who are passionate about creating an experience for their listeners, the value of the show is driven up.

This is a Marathon, Not a Sprint 🏃🏻

Alright, let’s all admit it. We’ve all had that dream where we see our podcast on the top charts of major streaming platforms and exalted by every expert in our industry, but we are abruptly awakened by slow-paced climbing metrics on our newest episode. Well, here’s your buffer to reality: your success relies on value, and most importantly, value takes time.

Connections and Relationships are the Most Valuable Result of Networking 🎇

Why do you think that LinkedIn is an essential tool for business networking? If it isn’t obvious, it’s because it’s a tool founded on the principle of building connections, and we as people crave human connection. As podcasting and video begins to evolve, it is applying the same idea to its content strategy. By having those authentic conversations recorded and pushed out to a group of people who share the same interests, you are creating connections that are meaningful to both your show and its listeners.

About Season 6 of The Casted Podcast

Welcome to Season 6 of the Casted podcast, where we're focusing exclusively on our own users. Why? Well, because, by becoming Casted customers, it's pretty clear how committed they are, not only to podcasting as a key piece of the future of their marketing efforts, but also to the bigger picture of how these shows fit in to their integrated marketing strategy. They're the most forward-thinking brands that are harnessing the perspectives of experts with podcasts, but they're not stopping there. They're then bringing out those interviews to be amplified across other channels. They're practicing what we preach, and we want you to hear all about what they're doing and why they're doing it, and even better, how you can do it too.
